West Branch TAP brings organized, call-pocket pool leagues licensed in Centre County, Clinton County and Lycoming County. We run competitive 8-ball  9-ball and 10-ball leagues built on fairness, sportsmanship, and a great night out with friends.

8-BALL LEAGUE

Call pocket • 8-player teams-5 play per night . Matches played Wednesday & Thursday nights . Competitive play following professional TAP league standards.

10-BALL LEAGUE

Fast-paced • Highly competitive. Scheduled for Mondays in Williamsport, PA. 5-player teams 3 play per night . Max handicap 15

We welcome new teams and players of all skill levels to our organized 8-ball 9-ball & 10 Ball sessions across North Central PA.

Local By Laws & FAQ

  • $20.00 Yearly membership fee.
  • $7 per player each week
  • 1st place team session team receives payout
  • You must shoot 6 weeks to qualify for titleholders (unless specified)
  • MVPS will receive Plaques -you must play 8 weeks to Qualify – You need to play 1 of the last two weeks – you must play at least 50% at the handicap you qualify for.
  • All matches start with a coin flip by the home team – The winning team then decides whether to put their player in first or defer.
  • The home team has the choice to either start or end on two tables if available . League nights can be long if all the matches go hill-hill, that’s a good thing because that means the handicaps are working ! The match can be played on two tables throughout if both teams agree.
  • 1 time out per rack unless you're a 2 or 3 – 2 or 3’s have two time outs per rack.
  • 2's can be coached from the sideline
  • You can remind the player to patch the pocket from the sideline
  • Titleholder teams pay $80.00 entry – this was voted on by the players (2022)
  • 1st and 2nd place team gets their $80.00 titleholder entry paid from the prize pool(Lycoming) 1stplace only(Clinton) (changed 2024)
  • Players no longer have to be on an active roster to participate in titleholders (Changed 2025)
